The BigFarm BF-270 Broiler Cage integrates watering, feeding, conveying, and manure removal systems into a single structure to achieve maximum efficiency in broiler production. Controlled and hygienic watering is provided through PVC square lines and stainless steel nipples, while the homogeneous feeding system ensures fast and balanced nutrition. Thanks to the conveying system, the risk of injury and bruising during unloading is reduced; moreover, the polypropylene manure belt and scraper system make cleaning regular and practical.

Watering System

  • - Irrigation in cage sections is provided by PVC square-shaped pipes.
  • - Drip cups positioned underneath the nipples prevent excess water from reaching the manure belt.
  • - Each section is equipped with 16 stainless steel nipples arranged in two lines.
  • - Thanks to the medicator system, the desired amount of medicine and vitamins can be mixed into the drinking water at the preferred ratio and distributed evenly.

Manure Discharing System

  • - The manure removal system operates using POLYPROPYLENE (plastic) manure belts located under each tier.
  • - Belt cleaning is carried out by scrapers positioned at the end of the line.
  • - Manure collected via the belts is conveyed out of the poultry house through conveyors.

Broiler Removal System

  • - When it is time to evacuate the broilers, specially designed plastic drawer floors are manually opened, allowing the animals to drop onto the cleaned manure belt.
  • - Broilers coming from the manure belt are transferred to the transfer conveyor and delivered to the truck.
  • - Transporting broilers via the removal conveyor results in fewer injuries and bruising to feet and wings compared to manual handling.
